Uncorked does tastings

Reading about wine is good; drinking wine (in moderation, of course) is better. Tasting is the best and greatest activity around wine. In tasting, you cannot help but learn, and in tasting there is truth. 

Free Thirsty Thursday tastings happen every week between 12pm and 6pm - just drop in and we'll pour for you and talk you through the wines. Sometimes we have a winemaker or an agent to show the wines. Either way these are a great, informal way to learn about our range, try something interesting and often be the first to see new lines as well as old favourites. It's also worth noting that occasionally we have wine left over (gasp!), and when we do we carry on tasting on Friday afternoons.

We also do seated evening tastings on a (typically!) monthly basis. The ticket price includes wine and snacks (typically cheese from La Fromagerie, pate from Meat Fish Cheese, and bread from the Dusty Knuckle) so do let us know if you have any dietary requirements. If you want to buy any wine on the night, we'll keep a till open — and we might even offer some one-night only discounts.
