2014 is a year often overshadowed in fame (and eyewatering prices) by 2015 in some of the more famous and vintage-varying regions in the wine world. Time to check in on how the fruits of its growing season are shaping up. From blockbuster vintage champagne to premier cru Burgundy; from the Douro to the Gimblett Gravels; from classed Bordeaux to Ridge Monte Bello (!!!), we'll be surveying twelve of the finest wines from the year to see what's hot and what's what ten years on.
