Douro Wines and Port
I take seriously Jancis Robinson's claim that the Douro Valley produced, in the form of Port, the best wines in the world in 2011. And I agree with Neal Martin when he says 'But overall, the 2011s justify the hype that has fomented around their release.' It is certainly true that the wines showed magnificently when I had the chance to taste them.
