Resistance is futile. Over the years I've developed an aversion to Rioja that tastes of strawberry jam on toast with a side of oak soup. This annoys Neil no end so he has recently been busy buying Riojas that actually taste of grown up wine and this is your chance to taste some early arrivals. While we're in Iberia, we'll have a look at an old vine Portugese classic from Bairrada and to finish off, we'll apply a little more weight to the power pedal and offer a Rasteau.
