Colin the Educator will lead you through an exploration of what is still the world's largest fine wine producing region. There will be history, geography, some light geology and even some tasting to tie it altogether. Next week is whites and Merlot but this week is all about strictness and structure from Cabernet Sauvignon. We've got gravel and some of the most low-lying vineyards anywhere in the world. This watery landscape produces some of the world's finest wines.

2014 Beau-Site (St-Estephe)
2009 Clos Manou (Medoc)
2001 Branaire-Ducru (St-Julien)
2014 Pont Saint-Martin (Pessac)
2002 Grand-Puy-Lacoste (Pauillac)
2005 Labegorce Zédé (Margaux)
