Next to Cos and looking over the wall to Lafite, St-Estephe 4th growth Lafon-Rochet occupies a pretty prime spot in Bordeaux. It showed well en primeur this year - when Andrew tasted there, he immediately called the shop to buy the last bottle of 2014 on our shelves for himself. This Friday, we're delighted to be welcoming Basile Tesseron from the chateau, who'll be on hand to guide you through a tasting of 5 vintages of Lafon-Rochet. Basile took charge of the winemaking (at the last possible moment) in 2007, so you'll be able to see how the wine has changed before and after his stewardship.
