Lordy, I adore a cheap joke. 

I'm particularly referencing Attack of the Clones. So this week's tasting is based around viticultural clones. Hurrah, layers of geekery here. But since the only Star Wars film I've seen was the first one, in Chicago in 1977 I'm staying out of it. 

So we have Marco Sara Verduzzo made from the Giallo clone.

Guntrum Pinot Noir, from micro-clones of this mutable variety that have developed in Germany.

Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir from Dijon clones planted in Walker Bay

Le Potazzine Rosso di Montalcino from the Grosso clone of Sangiovese.
