Piedmont: Nebbiolo, of course

Italian Royalty on taste

sold out

Surely nothing represents the change in fortunes of Italy's wine industry since the 1960s better than the rise and rise of Nebbiolo. From being a largely overlooked variety it now rivals Pinot Noir for the affections of romantic wine lovers. As with most vinous luxuries it has moods and styles and is, up to a point, malleable in the hands of the great producers.

It isn't often we get the chance to taste a range like this - there's an amazing range of producer styles and all of it is absolutely top notch, so we are looking forward to this immensely.
