Chateauneuf-du-Pape and the pleasure principle

We are entering a puritan age that is to be strongly resisted. Pleasure has become out of fashion and especially if wine is involved denial is the order of the day. Repression of others is a temptation and as we know from Oscar Wilde, the only way to be rid of temptation is to give in to it. But, my fellow drinkers, I implore you to stand up to these new puritans - not the band of course.

We make our stand today based on the principles of unbridled fruit, total hedonism and ripeness expressed as necessary alcohol, and so our tasting samples shall be small and of academic interest. Yet we do hope that appetite and desire are stimulated and that you are piqued into taking home more than a small amount of this bacchanalian delight.
