As a long-standing Uncorked customer once said, "What does one drink if one cannot drink Biac?" This beautiful Bordeaux estate is nestled on a hill in the town of Langoiran, overlooking the Garonne. Hills are rare in Bordeaux, as the region is generally quite flat. Few estates can boast a slope as steep as those at Biac! The appellation is Cadillac, which covers the northern bank of the Garonne opposite Barsac and Sauternes.
The Asseily family, originally from Lebanon, have been custodians of Biac for many years now, and we are very pleased to have Youmna Asseily visiting us to pour her wines for this tasting. She won't be around all day, but if you're lucky you'll get to hear all about the estate and the wines from her! And she'll be bringing a very special, sweet treat...
