Studiously avoiding any topical associations with the day's events (and denying the disappointing weather), we'll be opening some bottles from Sancerre and its neighbour Pouilly-Fumé this Thursday: bright cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc, with some particular highlights from Claude Riffault.
