Mellow magic

I used to complain there weren't enough mature bottles on the shelves in Uncorked. Be careful what you wish for. With more mature wines than ever on the shelves, all available and priced by the single bottle, my personal finances are under serious pressure. I should resist, but there's a seductive, mellow magic in a properly-matured bottle of wine that every wine lover should experience.

Provenance on all of these wines is pristine. They've only just been released from temperature-controlled bonded warehouses, where they'd been since they were first shipped to the UK. We'd been storing them there on behalf of some very good customers who have finally come to accept that with the best will in the world, they can't drink everything. /NT
