The 2024 Riesling Bad Kreuznacher Krotenpfuhl Grosses Gewachs was picked on the steep, south-facing part of this site on gravel and quartzite. Right now, reduction dominates on the nose. The palate is absolutely clear-cut, stony and taut. It`s almost like the surface of a stone. This is concentrated and very slowly unpacks notions of beautiful red apple and the tangiest grapefruit peel, uniting zestiness and juicy ripeness. (Bone-dry) 92-94 points
