The 2024 Riesling Kreuznacher Kahlenberg Erste Lage, on loess and loam with some quartzite, was not hit by frost. The creaminess on the nose promises generosity, helped along by a lovely overtone of passion fruit. Everything about this is smooth and gentle, despite the slenderness and freshness. The 2024 glides along with much charm and elegance. (Bone-dry) 91 points
