Dense, intense, stewed tropical fruit aromas on the nose of the 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spatlese (White Capsule) lead to a medium to full-bodied, tight and concentrated Riesling that doesn`t show much of the finesse of the ZSU but rather structure and power. This is a tight, complex and muscular yet also vital and promising Riesling from the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr that develops a long, intense and still quite powerful finish. 11% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 19 23. Drink 2028 - 2050. 94 points
