Fournier Longchamps
Nervy, energetic, bone dry Chenin Blanc from the small but highly-regarded Loire appellation of Savennieres. La Croix Picot is made from a mixture of grapes from clay and schist vineyards, aged for 12 months in oak barrels and then a further six months on their fine lees, in large oak vats. It`s classy and vibrant, and tasting blind, I think I would guess it was a white Burgundy. It`s got the sort of tension, the dry but ripe citrus fruit and the discreet, well-integrated oak you can often find there - except in Burgundy, it would cost more. (NT 27/09/24)

Rebecca Gibb MW
The 2022 Savennieres La Croix Picot is an energetic, athletic Chenin Blanc that`s more 1500-meter runner than discus thrower. Bone dry, savory and salty, it is a serious, punchy style that tightens up on your palate. 90 points
