Jasper Morris
40% oak. A clear mid yellow. There is a saltiness to the bouquet which Benoît considers a hallmark. A big round ball of fruit on the palate, white rather than yellow, then back to the marine character to finish. A very solid wine suited to white meats more than fish. Fine persistence. Drink from 2029-2038. 92-95 points

The 2022 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru has a very aromatic bouquet with apple blossom, white peach, wet stone and light praline scents - complex. The palate is delineated and sapid on the entry, quite strict with quince and peach hints towards the sustained finish. Classy, if just missing the killer blow. 91-93 points
