Stephan Reinhardt
The 2021 Rothenberg Riesling Spatlese is clear, precise and fresh on the tropical nose that reveals a stony/flinty spiciness intermingled with fine and candied ripe grapefruit aromas. Lush, refined and savory on the palate, this is a delicate but dense and finely concentrated, stimulatingly crispy Spatlese with a crystalline/saline finish. 7.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022. 92 points
