The 2020 LaCima is 85% Mencia with other red varieties from Ribeira Sacra. This was sourced from the highest vineyards at 500 to 700 meters in elevation. It presents delicate red fruit aromas with hints of herbs, mint, pomegranate and a touch of black fruit. There’s an appealing concentration that defines the plush palate, with light richness and vivid flavor. This is long and gently grippy. The 2020 is a modern style that captures the area’s riper side with a talc-like texture. 95 points
