The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis En Rue de la Vergy, which was completely de-stemmed, has a tightly-wound, tertiary nose with just a touch of cigar smoke filtering through the red and black fruit. The palate is smooth on the entry with fine, quite supple tannins, fine grip with a vivid, quite tensile finish. This is a fine, upstanding En Rue de la Vergy. 90-92 Points
