Beautifully authentic Brunello of medium body and silky textured structure. There are flavours of herbs and cherries, with a touch of liquourice and plum underlying. Still youthful but eminently drinkable, this wine is full of energy and fine tannins underpin the delicate, but pronounced fruit. Lovely wine from this romantic family. (CW 31/07/13)

Ian D`Agata
Bright ruby-red. Musky, wild aromas of strawberry, graphite, mint and leather. Broad and perfumed in the mouth, showing sexy but slightly diffuse flavors of spicy red fruits, minerals, dried rose and spices, with a strong oaky overlay. Finishes broad and moderately long, with peppery tannins and a trace of alcoholic warmth. 89 points
