The NV La Bota de Amontillado 58 Sanlúcar is around 21-years-old, sourced from a selection of butts (casks) from the soleras and criaderas of the Amontillado "Mlla. Pda." from the Rainera P. Marín winery, and therefore has a Manzanilla/Sanlúcar origin. It`s a delicious and drinkable Amontillado, distinctly different from the old and concentrated VORS and older wines with a clear sharp Sanlúcar character, moderate alcohol and notes of caramel and aromatic herbs. It`s still in the transition between the biological and oxidative character, between the creaminess and the sharpness. A young, approachable and gentle Amontillado. 2,500 bottles produced. 93points
