The 2025 Riesling Norheimer Kirschheck Spätlese is made with minimal botrytis. A lovely green-yellow note of spicy citrus combines with a tropical overtone of passionfruit, perhaps kumquat, with a hint of melon. Absolute clarity on the palate promotes lemon and an immense, stony, clear-cut white peach juiciness that gushes with bright, lovely fruit. It is the lemon note that is most enduring. The body remains beautifully slender and comes with wonderfully balanced, tender sweetness. (Sweet) 94 points
