The 2024 Hautes Cotes de Beaune Blanc Jardin du Calvert has a more malic bouquet compared to the Bourgogne Blanc, perhaps not quite the same degree of charm at the moment. The palate is built around the acidity; quite fresh and saline, good attack (not unlike the Aligote) with a tingle of orange sorbet towards the finish. Just needs to cohere during the rest of its elevage. 86-88 points

Mid lemon yellow. Some reduction on the nose, less ripe than the Bourgogne. Still comes across prettily enough with some greengage notes at the finish. Slightly lean but with fair concentration. 86-87 points
