The 2024 Meursault Les Criots comes from clay soils over limestone. It has quite a generous nose with more yellow fruit than you would expect given the coolness of the season. Quite Charmes in style. The palate is cut in a similar style, rounded in texture, a silver thread of acidity, the mineralite coming through on the popcorn-tinged finish. Fine. 89-91 points

Pale lemon yellow. The citrus and apple aspects are pleasingly ripe here. Quite complex. All in white fruit on the palate, with depth and energy, good acidity and quite a lively aftertaste, also showing a little wood. 89-92 points
