The 2024 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru comes from the Puligny side of the appellation and sees 10% new oak. It has a tightly wound bouquet with yellow plum, wax and light walnut scents that unfurl in the glass. Just a light wet clayey scent loiters off-stage. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, plenty of salinity, precise and linear. It lingers beautifully in the mouth as if hovering just above the ground. Real mineralite here, a superb Meursault from Charles Millot. 94-96 points

Pale lemon and lime. The bouquet delivers one of the more refined Charmes nose, in a vintage where the appellation seems to have done well. A lovely balance between fresh yellow fruit, refined acidity and just a little extra weight at the back of the palate. 92-94 points
