Neal Martin
The 2024 Morey-Saint-Denis Village has a fragrant, almost Chambolle-like bouquet with dark berry fruit tinged with potpourri and a touch of graphite. The palate is medium-bodied with quite strict tannins and a brisk line of acidity. A ‘correct’ and linear Morey that just needs a bit more weight on the finish. Fine. 87-89 points

A lively ruby purple. I prefer the nose on the Morey to the Chambolle, perhaps a fraction riper. More consistent across the palate, with a fine fruit acid balance to finish and good length. 89-92 points
