The 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has quite a fragrant bouquet with open-knit red berry fruit (whisper it…a little Rousseau-like in style!). The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins matched by a keen line of acidity. Just a hint of balsamic tinctures the red fruit with a spicy finish. Alongside the Morey-Village this comes recommended. 89-91 points

Mid crimson ruby. Strawberry and a little griotte cherry. Crunchy red fruit on the palate, less ripe than Morey, but still plenty of fruit. Fair length. Juicy and fresh. 88-90 points
