2022 Nathalie Gilles Fevre Chablis VV

The old vine cuvee is largely from vines in Les Usages, Derriere le Chateau, Champs Preaux, all good sites near Fontenay. Blended and ready to bottle. 10% in wood. Green and gold in colour from these 50+ year old vines. I love the bouquet, which shows neither heat nor drought. Still plenty of gas at this stage but the ensemble is excellent, racy yet full of fruit, and perfect balance at the finish. Drink from 2025-2029. 90-92 points
