2022 Markus Molitor Spatlese Sonnenuhr GK

The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spatlese (Golden Capsule) is clear and very fine on the elegant and subtle nose that indicates perfectly ripe fruit and intermingles its flavors with delicate notes of finely weathered slate and some flinty tones. Quite sweet on the palate, this is a round and elegant, refined and savory-finishing ZSU with delicate acidity and a serious, intense and persistently mineral structure. It is very long yet still a bit sharp and thus rather dry on the clear and stimulating finish. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 22 23.
