A big crop in 2022 after heavy frost in 2021. Bottled yesterday. Pale in colour, a vivid fresh fruit nose. No shortage of body here, indeed a fine long finish on white fruit. Crisp yet with some power at the finish. 88 points

The 2022 Hautes-Cotes de Nuits Blanc Clos St. Philibert underwent some clarification with bentonite. It has a light apple blossom bouquet with touches of orange pith. The palate is fresh with crisp green apples, a citric thread of acidity (pH is 3.24), with pleasant bite on the finish. Enjoy this over the next three or four years. 85-87 points
