The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese ** (White Capsule) opens with a clear, bright, intense, very elegant, saline, slightly flinty and, in any case, intense bouquet of perfectly ripe, dense and fleshy yellow fleshed tropical rather than domestic fruit. Full-bodied, intense and textural on the palate, this is a physical, tight and tensioned ZSU with an intense and sustainable finish. This is a very promising Riesling that needs some years in the bottle to shine and sing. 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 43 23. Drink 2024 - 2065. 96 points
