John Livingstone-Learmonth
(cask) clear yellow; the bouquet comes with mineral, finely tuned grapey airs, orange peel and elderflowers, mandarin notes. The palate holds lovely richness, a real delight of a ball, exotic fruits, citrus, tangy notes in the flavour, has bundles of style and appeal. Its oak is moving in well, shows for now on the finish. It persists well with a little intensity in its juice. It’s a medium term wine, more than drinking post bottling - from spring 2024, decant. 2032-34. 4.5 stars
