The 2021 Coquet Gran Reserva Brut Nature is their youngest and most approachable wine. It combines grapes (Xarel.lo, Macabeo and Parellada) from their own vineyards with purchased ones but is produced with the same care as the rest of the range. It was fermented and kept in stainless steel and then refermented in bottle with an elevage sur lie of over 42 months, also closed with natural cork. in 2021, it seems to be even better, of course with the super clean, harmonious and precise style, favoring balance and elegance over power. It is serious and fresh, with abundant small bubbles. 58,341 bottles produced. The bottle I tasted was disgorged in February 2026. 93 points
