Kerin O’Keefe
The radiant 2021 Bruna Grimaldi Badarina boasts aromas and flavors of blue flower, raspberry, menthol, star anise and tobacco. Showing its Serralunga roots, it has great structure, with a backbone of firm, refined tannins and vibrant acidity. Drink 2031–2046. 96 points
Antonio Galloni
The 2021 Barolo Badarina is a sensual, elegant wine. Dark-toned fruit, lavender, menthol, licorice and pine all caress the palate. Fine, silky tannins provide the backdrop as this understated Serralunga Barolo shows off its considerable charms. All the elements are so well balanced. Gorgeous. 94 points
