Jasper Morris
A similar bright purple, not quite so deep. A reductive aspect once again, but it is not a dirty reduction at all. Some depth of cherry fruit beneath. Pristine purity, less ripe with a strong redcurrant thread alongside the cherry-raspberry fruit, but all will come together with bottle age. Properly persistent. Drink from 2025-2028. 89-92 points

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Village showed a bit of reduction like its Morey counterpart, here, a little more red fruit developing. The palate is quite lithe on the entry, fine tannins with good depth, some sinew towards the finish that should soften with age. Give it a couple of years in bottle. 87-89 points
