Quite a dense purple colour. A faint reduction. They tried an experiment and pumped over one vat, and punched down the other - with no real difference in taste, and identical in analysis. This is robust and rumbunctious, with a little extra structure which I think will work very well. I like this a lot. 50% new wood. 88-90 points
