Secondary Description
Nebbiolo, with small amounts of Croatina, Vespolina and Uva Rara, from one of the more northerly appellations in Piedmont. Pretty cherry-stone minerality on the aromas, with a cola note which carries through on the palate. Potent and delicious! (JH 13/11/2025)

Unravelling slowly, earthy, autumn leaf aromas make way for pot pourri and spices along with delicate touches of sour red berries. The palate has a refined, airy texture with a touch of the noble austerity of Nebbiolo in the tannins, but also great depth of flavour and a long finish of fantail aromatic complexity, with spicy notes of ginger and delicately mouthwatering sour fruit. A wine of huge natural appeal. 95 points

Pale ruby. Raspberry with just the merest suggestion of rose petals. Fantastic lift and depth. Near-perfect balance on the palate and with great purity of raspberry fruit and finely ground tannins. Beautiful leggerezza. 17.5+ points
