Eric Guido
The 2019 Brunello di Montalcino opens with a mentholated freshness, as hints of split pine and sage give way to dried strawberries. This is a juicy and round effort with pretty wild berry fruits and saline minerals guided by juicy acidity. Long and staining, it lingers on the palate with a pleasantly chewy resonance as hints of fine tannin frame the finale. 89 points
