2019 Luis Pato Vinha Barrosa (Bairrada)

Lean cranberry, dried cherry, sloe berry aromas, earthy and slightly musty. The palate is very bright and punchy, with zesty acidity providing excellent structure for longterm ageing. Baga vines over 100 years of age have produced a wine which is far from obvious, with a very savoury, earthy undercurrent, yet full of personality and deceptively easy to drink!
