The 2019 Chenin Blanc Reserve was picked over three passes through the vines and matured in 20% new oak for 10 months on the lees. It has a clean and precise bouquet of orange pith, light apricot and touches of sesame oil and linseed. The palate is well balanced with a slightly oily opening, zesty acidity and a pure, almost Germanic finish that gently fans out. Very fine. 92 points

Staggered harvesting ensures optimum ripeness & balance on 2019. Explosion of apple, almond & lime, with toasty nuance from French oaking (20% new, 8 months). Thrilling fine acidity & wood woven into intense fruit profile, reflecting both special provenance of the vines & the synergy between Old World elegance & New World opulence. 95 points
