The Roagna 2017 Barolo Pira Vecchie Viti also draws its fruit from Castiglione Falletto in a vineyard site located just below Rocche di Castiglione. The vines were planted in 1937 on this slope with southeast exposures. This wine shows a similar character with a pronounced sense of focus and linearity that draws a through line from start to finish of the wine.
