Yves Cuilleron had always imagined he would become a mechanic, but he found himself unable to resist the pull of wine... when his uncle retired with no obvious successor, Yves leapt at the chance to take over the family domaine. And thank goodness! Given the quality of these wines, it would be a tragedy for us to have missed them. His Viognier is at the level of many producer`s Condrieu... think pithy, limey intensity with bitter almond on the finish. And while that note may make the wine sound peculiar, it is utterly compelling in the mouth. (NT 19/06/18)
