White peach, toasted nuts and lime on the alluring nose. Subtly rich yet precise, with pear fruit nicely balanced by vibrant acidity on the palate. The oily texture and restrained sweetness mask this Riesling’s juicy minerality. Classically Rheingau in style, this is one of the finest off-dry wines of the vintage. 91 points
