Bourbon HH
Brine and bacon fat, the sod, the smoke - this unusual bottling from Loch Lomond distillery is all all about the peat. Founded in the 60s, quiet in the 80s, it remains the only distillery to be named after its main water source, standing almost astride the River Leven at the very south end of Loch Lomond. It`s also one of the very few distilleries to produce both malt and grain whisky on the same site. Definitely one for the peatheads, as smoky as Islay`s finest. (NT 21/08/18)
