The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs, made from Dorset-grown Chardonnay with 90% of the fruit from the 2020 vintage, spent just under three years on lees. Freshly cut, creamy flesh of green and yellow apple is fragrant and incredibly animating on the nose, backed by fresh Viennoiserie and a touch of hazelnut. Lively, fine mousse immediately swirls these expressive flavors around the palate, underlining the purity of the fruit and its citric freshness. This is lovely now but will reward bottle age. What a juicy, energetic wine with pure lemony length. Disgorged: July 2024. 94 points
