The 2025 Riesling Wachstum Bodenstein Smaragd is from the Hochseiber site and is the last wine to be picked, on 25 October. The vines are a wide genetic selection and are now 35 years old. Alluring citrus aromas beguile with their zestiness. Linearity, poise, svelteness and stone define the palate. All of this is like a glass marble running in a straight line across rock. Utter concentration and purity meet salty stone. 97 points
