Carefully constructed if subdued at this early stage, white pears, cinammon, cumin, slate, preserved lemons. Plenty of ageing potential. Yield 36.5 hl/ha. 91 points

The 2025 Malartic-Lagraviere Blanc is deep and quite powerful in the glass. Lemon peel, white flowers, chalk, mint and white pepper confer energy and intensity. This is an especially rich, potent vintage for the Blanc. Tasted three times. 91-93 points

The 2025 Malartic-Lagravière Blanc has a well-defined nose, but perhaps like the Domaine de Chevalier Blanc, it feels bashful at this early stage. The palate is well balanced, with a peachy entry and, here, it is more expressive, with hints of mango and Clementine, just a little oak guiding the finish. Not quite up there with the outstanding `24, but close. 92-94 points
