Media Reviews
Antonio Galloni
The 2025 Carbonnieux Blanc is a brilliant, tense wine with good depth and plenty of drive. Green pear, lemon peel, tomato leaf, sage, mint and white pepper are very nicely fashioned in this tasty dry white. 90-92 points
Neal Martin
The 2025 Carbonnieux Blanc has a light, delicate nose, with pretty apple blossom and Anjou pear scents. Like recent vintages, it just needs more oomph (technical term, but you know what I mean). The palate has matchstick reduction on the entry, and this suppresses the finish and detracts from the brightness and charm. This was less evident on a second bottle. Hopefully this will be addressed by the time of bottling, but I remain prudent for now. 88-90 points
