Media Reviews
Jane Anson
Bright plum and red cherry, pleasurably sappy structure to the tannins, this is full of joy and gives a Margaux lift without having to wait too long. 30% new oak for ageing, 45hl/h yield, impressive quality and a success in the vintage. 92 points
Antonio Galloni
The 2024 Siran is bold and juicy to the core. Succulent red fruit, spice, new leather, blood orange, menthol and mocha all flesh out in the glass. A wine of substance and textural presence, Siran delivers the goods in 2024. Tasted two times. 90-92 points
Neal Martin
The 2024 Siran was picked between September 19 and October 3 at 45.5 hl/ha. There is no second label this year. It has a light and straightforward bouquet, mainly black fruit with touches of blue, though there is clearly less concentration than in previous years. The palate is medium-bodied with a graphite-tinged entry, slightly dry tannins and modest length, with a liberal sprinkling of black pepper on the finish. Edouard Miailhe has done a brilliant job rejuvenating this underrated estate in recent years. This vintage is limited by the growing season, but it will drink nicely over the next decade. 88-90 points
